Halloween Software Deals 2026: 60% Off Windows, Office and Server Keys

Published: October 10, 2026 | Updated: October 10, 2026

Bcdkey’s Halloween software deals are live. The code HWEN26 takes 60% off genuine Windows, Office, Office apps and Windows Server keys until November 1, 2026. The discount comes off the current price, not off an inflated “was” price.

A discount only helps if the license fits. Do you need a Retail key or an OEM key? Is Office 2024 worth choosing over Office 2021? Does a Mac need a different license? And if you still run Windows 10, does the end of free security updates on October 13, 2026 change anything?

This guide lists the deals, explains how to apply the coupon, and helps you pick the right edition, so the bargain is still a bargain next year.

Top 5 Halloween Software Deals by Category

These are the most popular products in each category, based on recent Bcdkey orders. Most use HWEN26 for 60% off; Bind Key and Office for Mac products use HWNB26 for 30% off.

Windows

The best-selling Windows 11 keys:

Retail keys can move to a new PC; OEM keys stay with the first PC they activate.

Office

The most popular Office licenses:

Office 2024 is supported until October 9, 2029. Office 2021 support ends on October 13, 2026, so choose 2024 for long-term use.

Windows Server

The most popular Windows Server editions:

Server 2025 is the current release; 2022 and 2019 suit environments that need to match existing servers.

Project

The most popular Microsoft Project licenses:

Project 2021 reaches end of support on October 13, 2026, so choose a 2024 version for long-term use.

Visio

The most popular Microsoft Visio licenses:

Visio 2021 reaches end of support on October 13, 2026, and Visio 2019 is already out of support, so 2024 is the better long-term pick.

Multi-PC licenses activate the stated number of devices with one key. Remote Desktop CALs are licensed per user or per device; see our Remote Desktop CAL range for other quantities.

Prices are correct as of October 10, 2026. The final discount is calculated at checkout. See every deal on the Halloween Deals page.

Which Halloween Software Deal Fits You?

The cheapest key is not always the best buy. A key for the wrong edition is like a costume in the wrong size: technically yours, not much use.

Home Users and Students

Windows 11 Home covers browsing, school work, streaming and gaming. Pair it with Office 2024 Standard for Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Choose Pro instead if you need BitLocker encryption, Remote Desktop hosting or Hyper-V. Our Windows 11 Home vs Pro guide explains the difference.

Freelancers, Developers and Small Businesses

Windows 11 Pro is the practical choice for work machines. Remote Desktop, BitLocker and Group Policy save time once more than one PC is involved.

For Office, Office 2024 Pro Plus adds Access to the core apps. Offices with several PCs can use the 20PC license rather than buying keys one at a time.

IT Admins and Organizations

Windows Server 2025 Standard and Datacenter, Remote Desktop CALs, Visio 2024 and Project 2024 are all part of the sale. Bind Key versions of Visio, Project, Outlook and Access use the code HWNB26 for 30% off rather than HWEN26. Browse the full Windows Server range for other editions.

For production servers, plan the deployment before you buy. A cheaper license does not shorten a migration.

Retail or OEM: Which Windows Key Should You Choose?

It depends on your hardware plans. Both give you the same Windows 11 features; the difference is what happens when you replace your PC.

• Retail: can be moved to a new PC after removing it from the old one
• OEM: stays with the first PC it activates
• Phone Activation: activated through Microsoft’s phone system rather than online

If you upgrade your PC every few years, Retail is usually worth the extra few euros. If the machine will stay as it is until it retires, OEM does the same job for less.

Phone activation keys need a Confirmation ID. Use the Bcdkey Get Confirmation ID tool when Windows asks for one.

Still on Windows 10? Here Is Why This Sale Matters

Microsoft’s free Windows 10 security updates for home users end on October 13, 2026. That was the last year of the consumer Extended Security Updates program, and there is no further consumer extension.

A Windows 10 PC will not stop working that day. It will stop receiving fixes for newly discovered security problems, so the risk grows over time. Halloween is for haunted houses, not for haunted PCs that no longer get patches.

Microsoft’s Windows 10 Consumer ESU page explains the program and its end date.

Before buying a Windows 11 key, check that your PC meets the requirements, including TPM 2.0, a module that stores encryption keys in hardware. Then follow our guide on how to activate Windows 11.

Office 2024 or Office 2021: Which Should You Buy?

For most people, Office 2024. It is the newer release, and in this sale it also costs less.

Office 2021 reaches the end of Microsoft support on October 13, 2026. It will keep opening documents after that, but it will no longer receive security updates. Office 2024 is supported until October 9, 2029.

Office 2021 still makes sense if your organization has standardized on it and you need matching versions. Bcdkey’s guide to installing and activating Office 2021 Pro Plus covers setup.

What About Office for Mac?

Windows Office keys do not activate Office on macOS. Mac users need a separate Mac license.

Avoid Office 2019 and 2016 for Mac. Microsoft switched Office 2019 for Mac to a reduced functionality mode on July 13, 2026, so it can open documents but no longer edit or save them. Older Mac releases are in the same position or worse.

If you use a Mac, choose a currently supported Office for Mac version and check that your macOS version meets its requirements before you buy.

Key Microsoft Dates to Know This Season

Several Microsoft lifecycle dates fall around this sale. End of support means Microsoft stops security updates; the software does not switch off:

Final Thoughts

Halloween software deals are not really about the biggest percentage. They are about buying the license you will still be glad to have next year.

Code HWEN26 takes 60% off until November 1, 2026. For most home users, Windows 11 Home or Pro plus Office 2024 is the simplest combination. Businesses can look at the 20PC Office license and Windows Server 2025.

If you still run Windows 10, make the move to Windows 11 a priority, since free security updates end on October 13.

When you are ready to choose an edition, compare the full range on the Bcdkey Halloween Deals page.

What is the Bcdkey Halloween coupon code?

The code is HWEN26. Enter it at checkout to take 60% off the current price of eligible Windows, Office and Windows Server products.

When does the Halloween sale end?

November 1, 2026. After that date the HWEN26 code will no longer apply a discount.

Which coupon do I use for Bind Key and Mac products?

Use HWNB26. It takes 30% off Bind Key products and Office for Mac, while HWEN26 covers the rest of the store at 60% off.

Can I combine HWEN26 with another coupon?

No. HWEN26 is a single-use-per-order code and cannot be stacked with other discount codes.

Is a Retail key better than an OEM key?

Only if you plan to change your PC. A Retail key can be moved to a new computer, while an OEM key stays with the first PC it activates. Both include the same Windows features.

Do I need to reinstall Windows to upgrade from Home to Pro?

No. Enter your Windows 11 Pro key under Settings, System, Activation, Change product key. Your files and apps stay in place.

Will Windows 10 stop working after October 13, 2026?

No. Windows 10 keeps running, but home PCs stop receiving security updates from Microsoft, which increases risk over time.

No. Office for Windows and Office for Mac use separate licenses. Choose a currently supported Mac version, not Office 2019 or 2016 for Mac, which can no longer edit or save documents.

Can businesses buy licenses in bulk during the sale?

Yes. Multi-PC licenses such as Windows 11 Pro 5PC and Office 2024 Pro Plus 20PC are included in the sale, and larger orders can go through the Bcdkey B2B Wholesale Program.

Which currencies can I pay in?

Prices can be shown in EUR, USD or GBP using the currency switcher on the site. The Halloween discount applies in every currency.

What should I do if my key does not activate?

Open a support ticket on Bcdkey and include your order number. For phone activation keys, use the Get Confirmation ID tool to complete activation.
